if I am trying to lose weight, should I have 1 tbsp of organic peanut butter or is two tbsp okay?
Two tbsp is perfectly fine! I’m trying to lose a bit of weight too and I actually have more than that. If you decide to have more peanut butter, just have less pasta let’s say. All about having balance! Just know around how much you should be eating each day and you can consume whatever clean food items you want. Of course make sure your diet is fairly balanced and you are exercising enough xx
Hi(: i've always been a little chubby ever since i was a little kid. Now i'm starting to change that, my goal is to lose 20-30 pounds! i've lost about 4 or 5 so far. I just have 1 problem, im scared to lose that much weight! The reason im scared is because of school! All the people that go to my school i have practically grown up with. I'm just scared that they will say something about my weight loss.. How would you deal with this? also, how long do you think it will take me? Thank you!!
Hello babe! Well, healthy weight loss is about 2 pounds per week, so I would say that a good time frame for losing the weight would be about 4 months or so:)
Never be scared to make a healthy change for you babe! Working hard by eating right and exercising is something admirable, not something to make fun of. If anyone says anything negative about your weight loss, they are simply insecure with themselves and jealous. Be proud of yourself, confident, and hold your head high! I think you will get loads more comments like, “You look fabulous!” than anything negative.
If you want someone with personal experience with this, my lovely, best friend Katie can absolutely help you. She’s lost over 25 pounds the healthy way and is just such an inspiration! I know she’d be glad to give you advice. Her blog is: healthyandstrongislife :)
You’re beautiful! Be confident in yourself and never forget it, regardless of what anyone may say xx
my mom wont let me go for a run cause it's to late :(
Aw it’s no big deal babe! It’s better to be safe and not run in the dark than to risk something happening. I think your mom is right! There are plenty of exercises you can do inside the house, try POP Pilates on youtube:) I’m about to do a video myself. Just wake up in the morning and run lovely xx
Hi! I figured you would be able to answer this peanut butter related question, I have a spoonful of peanut butter about every other night and I love it! However I only like the Skippy creamy kind, is this unhealthy? I know nothing is bad in moderation and I'm not eating tons of it but I'm just concerned about the oils, additives and such. Thanks! You're my favorite fitblr!
Ah isn’t it the best? I also love the Skippy creamy kind:) In moderation it should be perfectly fine! They say the healthiest kind of peanut butter is the kind without any hydrogenated oils, additives, etc. So if you are looking for the healthiest type, I would go for something all natural with few ingredients. One of my favorite things is to make my own peanut butter in the food processor/blender with just peanuts, sea salt, and a bit of vegetable oil! Yummy and super healthy!
Ahh! That means the world to me. You are lovely, thank you xxx
My mom and my sister are always wanting to eat sweets or desserts almost every evening when one of us choose a film to look. I have to say that I like that because its like a habit, a habit with so many good memories. I don't want to destroy this because it feels as wrong as eating this bad. Therefor I stand inbetween this two things. I eat clean the whole day ( till that time ) and I workout ( strenght+cardio ). Can you tell me what to do? Because my family is so important for me.. thank you xx
I completely understand family movie night, my family does this every Friday and we have a treat as well:) Your suggestions were perfect, eat clean and exercise every day and having a little treat isn’t going to hurt you. Just try to make sure it is a reasonable size.
Some other things you may want to try: You may want to have healthy dessert alternatives or even fruit for dessert. Chocolate Covered Katie (chocolatecoveredkatie.com) has amazing healthy dessert recipes and you can have a healthy dessert of fruit with maybe a little chocolate syrup on it for fewer calories:) This way you can make healthier choices while still enjoying your films with your family!
